Chris Impersonator... well sort of

This is kinda strange and kinda funny and a little disturbing. Somebody doing an impersonation of Chris' character 'Roy' in IT Crowd TV show. What's weird and disturbing is the fact that I think he sounds like a hybrid of Chris and John. Watch his hand.

Bath Time

Nara loves her bath time - and who could blame her - getting all wrapped up in a big fluffy town, gently washed in elbow tested water and then massaged!

It's hard to believe but these photos are from over a month ago!

We took a quick spin down to Boyle yesterday for a spot of lunch. While we were in Abbeytown Nara's granddad Sean dropped by and took this lovely photo of Nara - who's looking pretty happy with herself after having a refreshing siesta after her own liquid lunch.

Nara in Black & White

Nara had her first doctor's visit yesterday (6 weeks). Doctor said she was a fine healthy girl. She's now 5.5kg (approx 12 pounds) and 58cm long(approx 23 inches).

Triona and Nara's Big Adventure

Triona decided to go down to Slish wood for her daily walk yesterday with Nara. It's a beautiful place with a lovely walk around by Lough Gill (our local lake). Anyhow - Triona, ever the intrepid explorer, decided that she would plot her own course and she ended up on a hill walking track. Not an ideal path for somebody with a buggy!

After about an hour and a half Tri realised that perhaps she didn't know where she was - possibly when faced with this scene:


Of course she never considered turning back. Covered in muck after carrying Nara and the buggy over countless obstacles she plowed on

And on. Eventually finding a small back road which featured a sign post for Dromahair (3km) ad Sligo (17km!). Tri was basically 12km off course by road! After encountering a local who was kind enough to give me directions by phone a rescue was mounted :)

Chilling Out

Nara enjoying some chill out time. She's getting quite chatty now and enjoys a nice sing song when in the mood.
