The sunshine coast with it's many fabulous beaches is just over an hours drive from us here in Redcliffe. The gang recently headed that way and after soaking up all the rays our pale Irish complexions could handle we headed for the shade. It's been super having the guys here and Nara is particularly enjoying her Granny and Jonathan the male company.

Jen, who just hates being infront of the camera- yeah right!, was trying on a few motherly poses.

Mam could not stand the sand in her bits for a minute longer and erected herself a very fancy changing room.

One of my absolute favourite photos here. Diar is certainly becoming a great big brother and gets lots of laughs out of his little sister.

I certainly hope it's Diar that is getting taller and not Mam in her old age beginning to shrink!! Watch out Chris he's getting ever closer:)

We were all very excited to make a stop at the infamous 'Big Pineapple' on the way home from the sunshine coast, and boy, we were not disappointed, it was really fantastic. Diarmy has been plaguing us since to go back, so I'm sure another trip will be made there shortly.

New Valentine

Belated love, hugs and kisses to all this Valentines. Terrible to say that this year Mam was the only one showered with romance in our house (delighted for her though). We all had a lovely dinner and were surprised with champagne and Mam even got roses!!

Gorgeous girls

Beautiful little girls are keeping us all busy here in Oz. Recently we headed to Noosa heads for an overnight stay. We hit the beach but also got some well needed shade in the groves close by. Lovely Lillian grabbed 40 winks in her Mammy's arms while her big sister Sadie played on the beach with her Daddy and Diar.

Nara's crawling has really taken off and she is getting very adventurous. She got herself into this press- obviously feeling a little peckish!

This photo of Lillian was taken shortly after the guys arrived. In even just a couple of weeks Lily has got bigger and is giving us all gorgeous smiles. She loves her bath and has discovered the best toys ever - her hands:)

The new best friends Nara and Sadie. No playing in the pool the last few days as its been very Irish-lots of rain and wind, well sort of Irish- you can still get away with a pair of shorts and a t-shirt!

The Gang arrived :)

After all our waiting, the gang (Mam, Jenny, Tim, Sadie and baby Lillian) have finally arrived. We all chilled in Redcliffe for a couple of days and then we headed south on the 7 hour drive to Armidale. It was certainly worth the journey though, as Tim's Mum and Dad welcomed us with open arms and lots of delicious food.

Mam got right into the Aussie spirit as we celebrated Australia Day in Armidale.

While in Armidale, Tim had his 20 year school reunion (yes 20 years!). For fear we would miss anything we all tagged along and had a lovely afternoon hanging out at Tim's old High school.

Tim's lovely folks - Heather and Robin

Yes, that is a hunk of metal protruding from my little boys eyebrow!

Diar and Sadie getting to know each other again. Sadie who is two, mastered Diar's name without any difficulty, she should give some of the teachers in his school here some tips!!

Love this photo Diar took of Sadie in her sunnies.

Along with all Heather's wonderful baking we were fattened up with a very delicious barby cooked by Tim's Dad, Robin.

This shot is taken on one of the boundary gates of Heather & Robin's 300 acre farm.
