Safe and Sound

So the gang arrived home safe and sound - and looking pretty fresh and chipper I might add. Thanks Sean for sending on the pic.

The Jessops

So after a wonderful 3 months The Jessops have set off for home (last reports put them in Abu Dhabi with the trip going well). They were great company and certainly made Australia much more enjoyable for us.

Nara was waiting at the gate this morning for Sadie to arrive (up the stairs). She doesn't know what to do with herself.

In the pool

We've had a couple of days of pretty heavy rain lately so with blue skies today the girls took to the pool with gusto:

Happy Easter!

Yes - they celebrate Easter here in Australia but without any of the religious baggage. They get straight down to business with the Easter Bunny and chocolate. No nonsense.

The girls had a wee hunt for their eggs earlier. In fairness it was just Sadie May doing all the searching. Nara provided lots of morale support, smiles and clapping. Lilian was pretty chilled out and was possibly wondering what all the fuss was about.

As you can imagine we had two very excited and slightly strung out chocolate covered ladies to deal with after these photos where taken (Lilian isn't on solids yet - though Sadie was almost successful at getting a decent sized egg into her mouth while nobody was looking).

All of the dresses the girls wore today where sent over by their cousin Shelly. Don't they all look great?

On a side note - Nara is taking steps now - she took 3 earlier and you can see her confidence growing almost by the minute. Shouldn't be long now and she'll be running about the place. God help us all then (she loves to climb).

Australia Zoo

The whole gang headed up to Australia Zoo today. I'm not sure why we never visited before - perhaps we (meaning I) were just a touch cynical of the whole Steve Irwin phenomenon. Anyhow - we went. And it was great.

Tri and Jenny - a tad nervous of the (rather heavy) python

The weather was wet - which was a shame - but it still didn't put a dampener on our enjoyment of the day. I think it would be fair to say that this is the best zoo we have ever visited and is easily one of the best family attractions we've seen yet in Australia. A top quality spot.

The Jessop Girls

A couple of recent photos of Lilian and Sadie May:

I think it's fair to say that Australia suits the two Jessop lassies :)
